What we collect
Your email address, if you give it to us — through a quiz, to unlock cost information, or to join the mailing list. We store which page or quiz you gave it on, and your quiz result, so the emails we send are relevant rather than generic.
Quiz answers, whether or not you give an email. These are stored so we can see which questions people abandon and improve them. They are not linked to you unless you provide an address.
Review and enquiry details you submit through a form — including an email address for verification. Reviews are published anonymously; your address is never shown.
Your IP address on form submissions, to catch spam.
What we don't collect
We do not collect information about children. We do not ask for a child's name, date of birth, school or photograph anywhere on this site, and we do not want it. If you send it to us in a message, we delete it.
We do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone.
Cookies and tracking
We use a cookie to remember your light or dark theme choice, and a signed cookie to remember that you unlocked cost information so you aren't asked twice.
We also use the Meta (Facebook) pixel. If you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram advert, it tells us the advert worked and lets us avoid showing it to you again. It sets cookies from Meta and shares page-visit information with them. You can opt out through your Facebook ad settings or by blocking third-party cookies. We honour the Do Not Track browser setting — if yours is on, the pixel does not load.
Emails
If you join the list you'll get roughly one or two emails a month about youth baseball in Massachusetts. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate and permanent.
Information about programs
Listings are compiled from publicly available sources and from information programs give us directly. If you run a program and want a listing corrected or removed, use the “Request an update” link on your page and we'll action it.
Getting your data removed
Email us and we will delete your address and any associated quiz responses. You do not need to give a reason.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll say so on the site rather than quietly editing this page.
